Ian has been in the financial services since 1987 and has worked as both a financial adviser and investment manager. During his time in the financial services, he has run two large advisory firms as well as smaller, more local businesses.

Ian is a member of three professional bodies:

The Chartered Insurance Institute (Diploma member)
The Chartered Institute of Securities and investment (Chartered Member)
The Society of Tax and Estate practitioners (Affiliate member)


Ian is qualified and able to assist with a wide range of financial planning matters but has a particular interest in planning for later life, as evidenced by his attaining specialist qualifications in Long Term Care planning and Tax, Trust, and Estate Planning.

With a very strong background in investment, Ian is well equipped to give expert views on current and future investment strategy to trustees and individuals, as well as their personal representatives.

Ian regularly advises families across the generations and is therefore able to understand the financial challenges that face those at different stages of their personal and financial lives.
